I just want to say again thank you so much for volunteering your time to hostess Monday night, love on a table of women and make this event memorable for many. EXpresso is such a beautiful network for women of all ages. This is a fun evening out, hearing testimonies from amazing women, and coming along side wonderful gals to fellowship about the topic. Together we will hear how God helped them, grew them and walked side by side with them through their struggles.
Below is the run down of how we are running the tables for Monday night:
**As a table hostess, we will be asking you to remove your name card
from the plastic holder inside the coffee cup on the table when you
have a full table of gals. This will help the greeters know the table
is FULL. Please place your name tag on the table so gals will know who
is the table hostess.
As the table hostesses arrive early, they will need to come into the
student center and find their table. Please look for your name card on
a plastic holder that will be sticking out of the coffee cup in the
center of the table.
2. Make sure they have a name tag, and if not help them to a kiosk
3. Be available to answer questions about the topic of the night.
4. Start off the table questions, help facilitate the conversation and
move to the next question.
5. Be prepared to stay a bit after and allow the ladies to enjoy
fellowshipping in conversation
6. There may be gals who are in need of prayer, if you are
comfortable, please come along side them and pray or refer them to one
of the eXpresso team members.
7. If you have any gals that are interested in being on the panel,
please give them Tanya Kirkpatrick’s business card OR direct them to
the church website to fill out a “coffee talk” form.
8. At 9pm please pick up centerpieces, any trash off the table, pens
and tablecloth and place in labeled bins in back of the student center.
Table Questions that will be discussed are as follows:
Colossians 3:23:
(The Message)
22 -25 Servants, do what
you're told by your earthly masters. And don't just do the minimum that
will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real
Master, for God, confident that you'll get paid in full when you come
into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master
you're serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will
be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn't cover up bad
work.
1. What is your "Passion"
2. What are you doing to achieve your "Passion"?
3. Which Panelist did you really relate to and why?
4. Have you been sitting idle with your "Passion"? What is holding you back?
5.In the scripture above, in Colossians the writer says don't just do the
minimum that will get you by, Can you think of an instance where you
have just given the minimum?
6. Do you think you have
experienced igniting your "Passion" to spread your wings and take
flight? Describe that feeling........
Thank you so much for coming tonight!
We hope to see you at our next eXpresso, April 19th on "BOUNDARIES"
BRING A FRIEND!
Thank you again for giving your time and your heart to serve as a
Table Hostess!
I look forward to meeting you all personally and working along side of you for the Expresso year!!
In God's Love..
Teri Carter
